Depending on the duration and type of your cancer treatment, new hair will eventually start to appear. It will grow at about the rate of half an inch a month and may have a different colour and texture.
It is generally recommended that you don’t have any permanent colour or perm on your new hair for 6 months after your last treatment. You may use colour or mousse that does not contain ammonia or peroxide during this time and be careful... your first perm or colour may take a lot quicker than usual since your hair is brand new!
