Hair Help

Chances are that when you look good on the outside, you’ll feel better on the inside, and feeling better about yourself is an important step in coping with cancer.

One of the side-effects of chemotherapy can be thinning or loss of hair from the scalp, body, eyebrows, and eyelashes. Not everyone receiving treatment suffers the same combination of reactions and how one responds is an individual matter. There is no right or wrong way to feel, everyone has their own way of coming to terms with their illness.

However, knowing what to expect and deciding how you are going to overcome the problem of hair loss by using wigs or scarves and turbans with fake fringes and other hair add-ons will give you the extra boost of confidence that you need at this time.
